St. Joseph School offers its students the choice of many extracurriculular activities.

For students in grades 4 and 5, there is an elementary band. Students in grades 6,7 and 8 are eligible to participate in the middle school band. In addition, a beginning strings program is available starting in third grade; the Advanced String Ensemble is for more advanced string students.

Elementary Choir is offered to all boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade. Middle School Choir is for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. Both choirs perform at in-school and out-of-school venues as well as sing once a month at the 10:00 parish Mass.

St. Joseph School has a full sports program. Fifth graders can participate in boys basketball, girls basketball and girls volleyball. Middle school students can participate in co-ed soccer, co-ed track, boys basketball, girls basketball and girls volleyball. Eighth grade girls are eligible to form a pom squad that cheers for boys basketball and performs at pep rallies and other school related events.

In the fall, the middle school students enjoy an after school bowling league. Elementary students bowl in a spring league. Middle school students also have the opportunity to join a myriad of clubs: Book Clubs, Chess Club, Euchre Club, Cooking Club, Drama Club, Rosary Club and Art Club.
